Lemaan Achai is the Chesed organization in Ramat Beit Shemesh, Israel. We are a registered non-profit organization, run solely by local volunteers, providing a wide range of charity services to the Ramat Beit Shemesh community. Beit Shemesh is a community of approximately 50,000 people located in the foothills outside of Jerusalem, Israel. The Ramat Beit Shemesh neighborhood contains a healthy mix of religious & non-religious, English & Hebrew speakers.
Lemaan Achai is run under the auspices of Rabbi Chaim Soloviechick.

Ramat Bet Shemesh has much to be proud of in Lema’an Achai – where all sectors of the community work shoulder-to-shoulder to help local residents in need.
Need & Crisis
Lema’an Achai was established in Ramat Bet Shemesh just one year ago, by a group of caring and talented individuals, headed by Rav Chaim Soloveichik, shlita. The group was united in its aim to supply local families in need and crisis with fast, effective and professional-level assistance.
Since then, Lema’an Achai has developed and grown in a dramatic fashion – and is already a model neighbourhood Chesed/Welfare Organisation.
As very few people are privileged to have seen all aspects of this new organisation’s impressively wide range of activities, we are taking this opportunity to explain and present what Lema’an Achai does, who does it, and for whose benefit.
